This is your opportunity to experience the passion and focus it will take to be in a professional dance company. Take classes with the incredible teachers and choreographers of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company and learn the repertory of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company along side the Met’s own company members. Experience the diversity and excellence in training that is the signature of the Company. The week of classes and training ends in an informal showing on Friday.

For Intermediate & Advanced Level Students:
Ages 13 and Up

The Summer Intensive program offers students a highly concentrated curriculum in the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center’s studios with professional expertise from the faculty of the Houston Met. Students will be exposed to a variety of styles of dance, and for those students taking the entire two week session a choreography class in which the student’s will learn a piece(s) to be performed on the last day of the intensive. Each day begins with a dance class at 9:00, a lunch break from 12:00 – 1:00 followed by an array of different classes, discussions and opportunities until 3:00 p.m.. The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center reserves the right to place students in the appropriate level and to revise the curriculum if necessary.

Registration Fee - $15.00 if by May 15/July 15, $25.00 After May 15/July 15
Two Week Session - $500.00 per session ($100 Non Refundable if you drop)
One Week - $300.00 per week ($60 Non Refundable if you drop)
